Tenerife North Airport (TFN) has a reasonable ground transport infrastructure and passengers can make transfers to Santa Cruz, Puerto de la Cruz and other popular northern locations on the island.

Most public transport at Tenerife Airport is reasonably priced and reliable, operating at regular intervals.

Buses

There are four public bus services operating from the airport: bus numbers 102, 107, 108 and 340. Bus number 102 runs to Santa Cruz and then on to Puerto de la Cruz, number 107 runs to Santa Cruz and Buenavista, number 108 runs to Santa Cruz and Icod de los Vinos, while number 340 runs to Puerto de la Cruz and Tenerife South-Reina Sofia Airport (TFS).

Shuttle Buses

Shared minibuses operated by private companies run between the airport and popular resorts, while many holiday packages include free shuttle transportation. Alternatively, shuttle transportation can be booked independently online or through a travel agent.

Hotel Shuttles

Hotels will either provide their own shuttle cars for airport pick-ups or use private minibus companies to bring guests to their establishments. We recommend that you check the availability of these services when you book your hotel room.

Taxi Cabs

A taxi rank is available outside the terminal, from where passengers can take cabs to Santa Cruz and other destinations on the island.
